Return Policy – DelRae Artistry
Thank you for shopping with DelRae Artistry. We strive to ensure every purchase meets your expectations. If you are not fully satisfied, we’re here to help.
Returns, Store Credit & Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible items when a return request is submitted within 10 days of delivery. Please email delraeartistry@outlook.com to submit a return request.
To remain compliant with payment providers such as Afterpay, all approved returns to DelRae Artistry must be received within 30 days of delivery.
Store Credit is our Default Method
All approved returns will be issued as store credit.
- Store credit does not expire
- It can be used toward any future purchase
- This is our standard return method
Order Cancellations & Changes
We understand that sometimes orders are placed quickly and you may need to make a change.
- Orders may be cancelled or modified within 2 hours of purchase, as long as they have not been processed or shipped.
After fullfilment:
- Orders are considered final
- If your order has not yet shipped, you may request store credit only (no refunds)
- Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- In the same condition as received
- Unused and unworn
- Not installed
- In original packaging with all items intact
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (your confirmation email)
👉 We strongly recommend inspecting your extensions before installation, as installed items are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Hygiene & Hair Product Policy
Due to the nature of hair products, all braid-in dread extensions are considered personal use items.
To be eligible for return:
- Items must not be installed, tried on, or altered
- Items must be free of odors (smoke, perfume, hair products)
- Items must not show signs of product buildup, styling, or wear
For hygiene reasons, any item that has been used, handled excessively, or removed from packaging in a way that affects resale will not be accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these standards.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, contact us within 10 days of delivery:
Please include your order number and reason for return.
If your return is approved:
- Items must be shipped within 5 days
- A tracking number must be provided
⚠️ Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Inspection Process
Once your return is received, it will be inspected.
We will notify you once your return has been reviewed and approved or declined.
If the item does not meet our return standards, it will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
Refunds (Limited Cases Only)
Refunds to the original payment method are only offered if:
- The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect
To qualify:
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Photo or video proof is required
If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days after inspection.
Damages & Issues
This allows us to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item:
- Return your item (if eligible)
- Receive store credit
- Place a new order
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit:
- Sale or clearance items
- Custom or personalized items
- Items that have been installed, worn, or altered
